Not only was the ice cream fantastic, but the customer service as well. We walked in very close to closing time and were still able to try a couple selections and choose what we would like with no rush. Stu and his wife were very friendly and welcoming as if we were old friends. I would absolutely continue to go back and recommend to anyone that loves good hand made ice cream.

I have been coming to the island since I was in my teens with my parents and am now bringing my kids. When we first started going to Flamingo Crossing, this was the best place hands down. We would walk all the way down Duval from the Galleon. Excellent ice cream, excellent service. Unfortunately while the ice cream is still the best hands down, we have had an older gentleman as our server for the past 4-5 years, and he is just awful. I was reading some of the reviews, and annoyed doesn't even begin to describe his attitude. We talked about this place to my son and he was so excited to try some of the flavors, as most are unique and he has never tried them. The guy audibly sighed, wore an annoyed, almost angry expression and was just completely rude. We walked away shaking our heads. My father thought it was the owner because he has been there for a while. It is hard to imagine any owner tolerating this type of treatment. The only thing I will say in his defense is there was a steady line out the door and he was literally the only one on duty. It definitely needs to be better staffed. And that man has no business being in customer service. At. All. I am sorry to say we didn't go back specifically because of him. We went somewhere closer to our condo.

Loved the selections of ice creams. The Guava and Passion Fruit, tasted delicious together. Thank you again for letting me try samples to see which ice cream flavor, I would like best. The prices are good, and the ice cream is truly creamy. Plus I enjoyed the roosters outside, as the added addition.

Of all the ice cream parlors in Key West, many of which only first appeared recently, the best in Key West for over 30 years is STILL Flamingo Crossing on Duval Street. Their award winning flavor, Cuban Coffee is a hit with locals and visitors alike. It's served on the dessert menu at famous Pepes restaurant on Caroline Street. So many delicious flavors and varieties you're sure to love Flamingo Crossing Homemade ice cream on the premises, Upper Duval Street, corner of Virginia Street, Old Town Historic Key West. (NOTE! CASH ONLY!$)

Ice cream was pretty delicious, however the service was some of the worst I’ve experienced. The guy behind the counter was incredibly rude and seemed very annoyed that we asked for samples. After a few samples he rudely said “so who actually knows what they want” There was no one else in the store so no reason for the rudeness at all. He also overcharged us then had to recalculate 5 times before he believed we were right. Although the ice cream tasted good, the customer service made my experience sour and I will not be coming back here.
